The Brief
Having outgrown their old offices 25 Fenchurch Avenue represented a prestigious new space for Aegis London that could support their continued expansion. They required a high standard of audio visual equipment to compliment the new facility and support the new hybrid working culture. Team DI were tasked with providing a consultative approach to
designing, implementing and supporting the new systems.

The Solutions
Working as trusted partners, Team DI were on hand to guide Aegis London through the design process. This included listening to their requirements for enhanced audio and video systems with a particular focus on exceptional audio quality due to poor prior experiences.

Sales Manager Will Hickmott led the team that worked through the client requirements. The design team specified various technologies to enhance the user experience such as speaker- tracking cameras to improve far-end engagement during video calls. Beamforming ceiling microphones for superior audio pick up and architectural connectivity within meeting tables to simplify and tidy the AV cabling. The resulting system designs provide high quality, easy to use and reliable conferencing and presentation systems for users.
Team DI provided a fully inclusive service for Aegis London, ranging from consultancy, installation, commissioning and after sales support. This full 360 integrated approach was managed by the steady hand of Tony Foxwell, Team DI’s Project Delivery Manager.

Working closely with the main contractor and interior designer, Team DI were able to help enhance user experience in meeting rooms by ensuring that screen size, camera and audio coverage for all participants was optimised. This included helping with recommendations for furnishings, acoustic treatments and viewing angles. Our long experience of working on Design & Build office fit out projects enabled us to successfully integrate with the other site trades and deliver well-conceived, well integrated systems on budget and on time.
