The Brief
After successfully delivering projects for their London, Edinburgh and Brussels sites, our client understood the quality and attention to detail that Team DI apply to audio visual integration
They required a multitude of room environments across the floorspace including:
- 1no. 3 Way Split Partition Room
- 1no. 12 Person Meeting Room
- 1no. Group Meeting Room
- 1no. Reception Area
- 1no. Technology Hub
- 1no. Bar Area
The Solutions
Working as trusted partners, Team DI developed a strong relationship with our client to bring together a bespoke solution. Taking into consideration the design and installation from previous projects
The following key AV technologies from leading manufacturers were recommended:
- Crestron Flex Microsoft Teams Video Conferencing (MTR)
- BYOD (bring your own device for Zoom conferencing)
- LG Professional Displays
- Panasonic Conferencing Cameras from Aver and Pansonic
- Shure digital ceiling microphone arrays
- Crestron Ceiling Mounted Speakers
- Crestron Room Booking Panels
The Audio Visual technology system key plan below gives you an insight into the level of detail our design team put into the delivery of your integrated audio visual solution. For this project, Andrew Liebrand, our Design Director led the Design
In addition to the key plan the ultimate drawing pack included M&E specifications, display elevations, system schematics and rack layouts to support the innovative system designs and to fully coordinate the integration of AV with the wider fit out
The DI-fference
Team DI worked closely with the main contractor to co-ordinate the integration of a centralised rack to run the AV systems across multiple meeting rooms in addition to technologies such as a recessed projection lift and screen in the multi-purpose space
All AV technology was deployed on our client’s network switches which required extensive liaison with the client’s IT team
The cutting-edge technology deployed was the Crestron Flex CX100 which included Crestron’s unique BYOD functionality which has become a best-in-class and highly sought after technology. At the time of installation, this was one of the first deployments of these unique devices
