The Brief
With a reputation for expertly implementing and engineering top-tier AV technology, DI was poised to turn Peel Hunt’s vision into reality. The space, thoughtfully designed by Mace Interiors, encompassed various meeting rooms and open areas that craved seamlessly integrated AV systems:
- 5 x 3-4 Person Meeting Rooms
- 9 x 5-8 Person Meeting Rooms
- 3 x 12-Person Client Meeting Rooms
- 2 x 16-Person Boardrooms
- CEO & CFO Executive Rooms
- Signage/IPTV System for Reception & Communal Spaces
- PA system for the trading floor
- Auditorium for internal/external presentations
- Recording Room & Editing Suite with PTZ Cameras & Green Screen
- Centralised Systems
- Integration of environmental controls i.e. lighting, blinds
Having had no documentation to support their previous AV deployments Peel Hunt had worked hard with Uncoded to develop comprehensive system designs, using best of breed technology, which DI were able to professionally document to support the new installations and future servicing
The Solutions
A meticulous analysis of Peel Hunt’s requirements by Uncoded laid the groundwork for a multi-faceted solution that harnessed cutting-edge AV technologies. The integral components included:
- Samsung displays, ranging from 49” to 85”, imbuing visual splendour, with meticulous AV fabrication behind the wall mounted displays. Pre-Built and tested off-site at DIs HQ in our dedicated Rack Build and Testing centre.
- 32:9 1.5mm Samsung LED videowall in the Auditorium, permitting multiformat presentation capability
- Cisco Audio/Videoconferencing & UC
- Q-SYS audio for conferencing, routing and DSP
- Shure MXA710 microphones, a pioneering choice, with flush mount kits, an aesthetic enhancement recommended by DI, harmoniously integrated into the ceiling.
- Shure MXA910/MXN5W-C microphones/speakers in the auditorium configured for presentation/conferencing and mix/minus for in room voice lift.
- K-Array Kayman speakers for FOH audio in auditorium
- Crestron Control, combining AV room controls with a bespoke Peel Hunt branded UI for video conferencing operation.
- Crestron NVX for AVoIP video/audio distribution
- OneLAN/Tripleplay for bespoke corporate signage/IPTV.
- Mersive Solstice for Wireless Presentation
- Centralised “AV head end” with all core infrastructure installed within 2no. 45U racks located in SER.
Team DI were able to successfully deliver the new systems, fully co-ordinated with the overall office design with particular attention to fixing elements within bespoke joinery, RAL colour co-ordination and concealment of audio components behind Kvadrat acoustic panels

Subsequent AV upgrades including the upgrade of trading floor & 5 presentation only rooms to full VC capability, 6:2 LFD videowall in developer area combined with an upgrade to the auditorium to facilitate a live event environment demonstrates this partnership in practice
